Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Heat Pump Installer team, where you'll be at the forefront of sustainable heating solutions! The team should be at least 2 engineers and preferably a 3rd person/apprentice. In this role, you'll lead the installation of energy-efficient air source heat pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform homes and businesses into more comfortable, eco-friendly spaces. We are committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and technical excellence. The main area of focus for this side of the business is the North West of England, so ideally you will live within that area.

Responsibilities

Install heat pump systems according to manufacturer specifications, schematics, and safety standards. We use the latest software to develop clear concise packages for our installers and customers
Work under our MCS accreditation to install air source heat pumps in mainly residential settings for private customers
Follow our site surveys and installation plans for each installation
Commission the systems inline with manufacturer instructions and guidance to ensure optimal efficiency
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise installation procedures
Preferably be proficient in service and maintenance of air source heat pumps (NOT ESSENTIAL - training can be provided)
Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and share technical knowledge
Attend manufacturer training days/workshops
Maintain detailed documentation for each installation as per MCS requirements

Skills

Must have your own van, tools, equipment, qualifications and insurance
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components
Experience reading and interpreting schematics, heat loss documents and technical manuals
Demonstrated leadership skills to guide team efforts and ensure quality standards are met
Proficiency in service and repair of heat pumps desired but not essential
Knowledge of plumbing systems connected and required for air source heat pumps
Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments requiring construction skills
Excellent workmanship using the best materials to give the best finish to the job
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
