Job Overview:
We are currently looking for skilled Roofers to join our team in the Renewable Energy sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of Solar PV systems, ensuring all work is completed to high standards. This role will involve working on roofs across the UK, with some travel and overnight stays required.
Responsibilities:
- Install Solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and industrial rooftops(ground mount,
- Carry out roof preparation, including mounting structures and panels
- Collaborate with electricians to complete solar system installations
- Conduct repairs and maintenance of installed systems when required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and report installation issues on-site
Experience & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roofer or similar trade
- Experience working with Solar PV installations is highly desirable
- Good understanding of roofing materials and techniques
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
- Must be over 25 (for insurance purposes)
- Valid Driving License is a bonus
- Self-employed status required
- Nationwide travel across the UK – flexibility essential
