CROWD FIRST SAFETY GROUP is recruiting professional, reliable, and motivated Matchday Security & Response Operatives to join our operational team supporting Warrington Wolves.
This is a vital role within a live sporting environment, helping to ensure the safety, security, and positive experience of supporters, players, staff, and visitors on every matchday and event.

Essential Requirement
A valid SIA Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role.
The Role
As a Matchday Security & Response Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining safety and responding effectively to incidents across the stadium.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting pre-event and post-event safety and security checks
- Carrying out spectator searches in line with venue procedures
- Monitoring access points and perimeter areas
- Managing safe and controlled ingress and egress
- Supporting crowd management operations
- Responding to incidents in accordance with stadium protocols
- Professionally de-escalating conflict situations
- Assisting with ejections and physical interventions where required
- Providing guidance and support to spectators
- Reporting incidents accurately to supervisors and the control room
- Maintaining a visible, professional, and reassuring presence throughout the event
Incident Response Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Respond quickly and effectively to operational incidents
- Maintain safety and control in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
- Provide immediate support to colleagues and management teams
- Assess incidents accurately and escalate where appropriate
- Complete clear and accurate reports in line with legal and operational procedures
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervision Licence (essential)
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Spectator Safety Qualification or be willing to work towards obtaining one
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail
- Previous experience within security, events, or crowd management is desirable but not essential
Successful applicants will be required to complete BS7858 security screening.
