Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fitness Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our fitness centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest services, and maintaining a welcoming environment that promotes health and wellness. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for fitness and management to contribute to a vibrant community setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the fitness centre, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
Lead, motivate, and supervise fitness staff to deliver outstanding guest services
Develop and implement programmes to enhance member engagement and satisfaction
Manage booking systems, memberships, and class schedules effectively
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation within the facility
Handle guest enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote programmes and special events
Monitor equipment maintenance needs and liaise with service providers as necessary
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Proven management experience within a fitness or hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire team members
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Knowledge of fitness programmes, equipment, and industry trends
Organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in fitness instruction or management are desirable but not essential

Pay: £14.00 per hour
