We’re looking for a Junior Web Editor to work with ICT colleagues and services across the council to improve online user experiences for Warwickshire residents. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in public services and how we can deliver them digitally to our customers.
About the role
You will:

Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver customer-focussed services via our online platforms
- Contribute to the support and maintenance of multiple systems, both for internal use as well as external customer facing
- Make improvements to web content to enable accessibility, readability and to bring in line with the digital style guide
- Liaise with stakeholders across business, managing expectations and influencing views and opinions
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
About you
You should bring:
-
At least one years’ experience of using a CMS to manage web content
- The ability to independently interpret and analyse Web requests logged or situations and to produce solutions
- The ability to organise own workload and decide priorities
- Experience of ensuring the content of the sites is in line with business requirements and to industry best practices
- Experience of contributing to the development of Web policies and procedures
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion principles
- The right to work in the UK
Desirable

Excellent knowledge of HTML
- Good practicable knowledge of web technologies and industry best practices
- Experience of stakeholder management
- Experience of providing information and advice, including the ability to communicate complicated information regarding Web technologies to varied audiences
- Awareness of, and strong commitment to, customer care
- Confidence to promote good practice and challenge content quality issues
