Location: Spencer Yard, Leamington Spa (Office-Based)
Company: LoudLocal
Salary: Competitive Range (Negotiable & Dependent on Experience)
Work Pattern: Full-Time or Part-Time (3-5 days per week)
About LoudLocal: A Different Kind of Agency
LoudLocal is a small team of 8 with big ambitions. We aren't your typical agency; we put service above margin every time. Our team comes from many different backgrounds and different walks of life, making us a wonderfully diverse, friendly, and welcoming group.
Our mission is to be the most valuable partner for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that need expert SEO support but aren't in a position to hire their own in-house specialist. We work with real people across sectors such as Trade & Construction, Professional Services, Retail, and Hospitality. We genuinely want to see our clients thrive, and we treat their business growth as our own.
The Standard We Set
As a fast-growing business, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible experience to our customers. Our clients rely on us to solve complex problems and provide "jargon-free" clarity. We are looking for an SEO specialist who has a real love for SEO and can hit the ground running, taking ownership of the technical SEO process with minimal direction.
Which Track Fits You?
Because we are growing, we have the flexibility to shape this role depending on where you are in your career journey:
- The Executive Track: You are a brilliant technical "doer" with solid agency experience. You want a place where you can take full ownership of your work, escape micromanagement, and actively train to progress into a leadership position.
- The Manager Track: You already have senior or management-level experience. You love the technical side of SEO but are tired of corporate red tape. You want to lead the technical strategy, potentially mentor a junior team member, and help shape a fast-growing agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical SEO: Independently recognise, diagnose, and fix complex issues on WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Wix. Manage Google Business Profile and local presence strategies.
- Strategic Auditing & Reporting: Conduct site audits, Core Web Vitals reports, and technical deep-dives. Report back to the client exactly what needs to be done, with clear justification on why it matters to their bottom line.
- Client Liaison: Act as the "technical face" of the agency. You'll lead technical calls and meetings, acting as a trusted advisor to our business owners.
- Modern Toolset & Data: Expert-level use of Semrush, GA4, GTM, and Search Console, alongside Looker Studio for creating clear, visual performance stories.
- AI Collaboration: We embrace the future. You must be comfortable using AI tools like Gemini and ChatGPT as a "co-pilot" to enhance your efficiency, not as a replacement for your own technical expertise and critical thinking.
- Jargon-Free Communication: Translate keyword analysis into simple, actionable briefs for our internal content and social teams.
Our Team
We are a small, growing business, which means that when things get busy, we all pull together. While your focus will be primarily SEO, we are looking for a team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves when something crops up. You will be working closely with other members of our team, sometimes on projects spanning several areas of marketing (paid ads, website design, and social media).
What Makes LoudLocal a Special Place to Work?
- Relaxed, Modern Environment: Our recently refurbished office is based in the heart of the Leamington Spa Creative Quarter, with excellent transport links.
- The Social Spaces: Take a break and recharge pool table and arcade machine, or catch some sunshine in our garden.
- Deep Focus Setup: Need a quiet space to crush a technical audit? We have a dedicated focus desk that anyone can use when they need complete silence to get into the zone, and we give everyone a pair of noise-cancelling headphones for when they just need to get their head down and concentrate.
- A Supportive, Diverse Team: We are a close-knit group from all walks of life, where support goes both ways. If you're stuck on a problem, the team is always there to bounce ideas around and support you.
- Epic Team Events: We work hard, but we play hard too. We regularly hold team events that everyone votes on democratically. Past favourites have included music concerts, escape rooms, Chaos Karting, and Boom Battle Bar!
- Music Drives Us: We are loud by name, and loud by nature! Every team member has their own personal Sonos speaker. We take turns listening to each person's playlist (totally optional), and have a "Freestyle Friday" where anything goes.
- The Latest Tech & Themed Weeks: We provide our team with the best possible equipment to get the job done, and we regularly run fun, team-suggested themed weeks in the office.
Flexibility & Compensation
- Flexible Days: We believe in supporting a true work-life balance. You can choose to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week to suit your outside commitments or childcare.
- Office/Home Balance: This is an office-first role to encourage collaboration. There is future potential to work remotely on agreed days once established in the role, but initially, the role will be 100% office-based.
- Regular Pay Reviews: We continually review salaries based on the value you add to our clients and the agency. We always reward staff who go above and beyond.
- Long-Term Potential: We are looking for someone who will grow and develop with the business, with a direct pathway to becoming our Head of Technical SEO.
- No Birthdays at Your Desk: You get your birthday off, fully paid.
Our ambition is to continue growing and scaling the agency to become the go-to partner for small and medium businesses seeking to enhance their online visibility, and you will be a critical part of that future success.
What We Need from You
- Proven Autonomy: Direct experience in Technical SEO and the ability to work on your own initiative without a "manual."
- Platform Knowledge: A technical understanding of how different CMS platforms and hosting tools (like SiteGround) function.
- Problem-Solving Spirit: An optimistic approach to "working it out" when the answer isn't immediately obvious.
- Continuous Learning: A desire to stay ahead of industry changes (like GEO) and gain certifications that add value to the team.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. No matter your background, walk of life, or identity, if you have a passion for SEO and a drive to help small businesses succeed, you will find a welcoming home here.
