Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Ballet Teacher to inspire and guide students through the art of classical ballet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for dance while developing technical skills, artistry, and discipline in dancers of various ages and skill levels. As a Ballet Teacher, you will create engaging lessons that promote physical strength, flexibility, and grace, ensuring each student’s growth and confidence flourish in a supportive environment.

Duties

Design and deliver comprehensive ballet classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, emphasizing proper technique and artistry
Demonstrate ballet movements with clarity, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their form and performance
Develop personalized training plans to support students’ individual goals and progression
Monitor student progress regularly, maintaining detailed records of achievements and areas for improvement
Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of dance
Ensure safety by teaching correct warm-up routines, stretching techniques, and injury prevention methods based on anatomy knowledge
Collaborate with other dance instructors or staff to coordinate performances, workshops, or special events

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within dance or performing arts environments
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to movement, flexibility, and injury prevention to support safe training practices
Demonstrated ability to teach students effectively across various age groups and skill levels
Familiarity with ballet techniques, terminology, and classical training methods
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds
Prior experience working with children or young adults is highly desirable
