Full job description

Mintana LTD is a growing UK logistics company specialising in international cargo handling and delivery operations. We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and organised Operations Supervisor to oversee our day-to-day logistics operations while also supporting hands-on delivery activities.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics, transport, or delivery operations who can work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of daily operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily logistics and delivery operations
Coordinate airport collections and customer deliveries
Carry out airport pickups and deliveries when required
Plan and optimise delivery routes for efficiency
Supervise and coordinate contract drivers
Monitor delivery schedules and operational performance
Liaise directly with airport handlers and cargo agents
Ensure timely collection and distribution of goods
Handle operational issues, delays, and customer concerns
Maintain delivery records and operational documentation
Ensure compliance with company procedures and road safety regulations
Monitor company vehicle condition and report maintenance issues

Requirements

Previous experience in logistics, transport, delivery operations, or a supervisory role
Full UK driving licence
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Flexible, dependable, and proactive
Right to work in the UK

Desirable

Experience coordinating drivers or logistics teams
Experience with airport cargo collections or freight operations
Knowledge of London and surrounding delivery routes
