Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Sunday Lunch Host and Cashier to join our team. This role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent service in a warm and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
Seat guests and ensure they are comfortable during their visit
Handle cashier duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and dining space
Provide information about menu options and daily specials to guests
Manage phone enquiries courteously, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Assist in setting up tables and ensuring the dining area is welcoming for all guests

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or hotel environment is highly desirable
Strong communication skills with an approachable manner
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Good organisational skills to manage reservations and seating arrangements
Knowledge of serving procedures and food safety standards is advantageous
Professional phone etiquette when handling enquiries or bookings
Friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in hospitality and guest satisfaction

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
