As the business continues to expand, we are looking for a Management Accountant to take ownership of the numbers and provide clear, practical financial insight to support decision-making.
This is not a corporate, siloed role . You will work directly with the directors and be involved in the day-to-day running of the business.

You will be responsible for producing accurate financial information and helping us understand where we are making (or losing) money across our projects.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Job costing and project profitability analysis
- Monitoring costs vs budgets across multiple live projects
- Producing and maintaining cash flow forecasts
- Overseeing and supporting the bookkeeping function
- Managing VAT returns and CIS reporting
- Identifying financial risks, trends, and opportunities
- Working closely with directors to support commercial decision-making
* Improving internal systems, reporting, and financial processes
*What We’re Looking For*
* Experience in a similar management accountant / assistant accountant role
* Ideally part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / AAT) or qualified by experience
* Strong understanding of job costing / project-based accounting
* Construction or contracting experience is highly desirable
* Confident using accounting software (Xero)
* Strong Excel skills
* Able to communicate clearly with non-financial team members
*The Ideal Candidate*
* Commercially minded, understands margins, costs, and profitability
* Practical and hands-on (not overly corporate)
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
* Proactive and able to take ownership of their role
*What We Offer*
* Performance-related bonus
* Direct exposure to company leadership
* Flexible working (where possible)
