About the Role
Are you looking to build a career in construction management with a local industry leader? R&A Roofing Ltd is seeking a motivated, highly organized Trainee Contracts Manager to join our growing team.
Based out of Portsmouth, you will support the delivery of high-quality roofing projects for our new-build housing clients. This is an entry-level position designed to take you from a trainee to a fully qualified Contracts Manager. We aren't just looking for experience; we’re looking for the right attitude, a sharp mind, and someone who thrives on getting things done.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work closely with our Senior Management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. Your day-to-day will include:
- Project Coordination: Assisting in the scheduling of labor and materials for local new-build sites.
- Site Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for Site Managers, ensuring R&A Roofing meets all client expectations.
- Safety & Compliance: Learning to conduct site inspections and ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Administration: Managing project documentation, variations, and progress reports.
