*Job Overview*
Are you motivated team player? We are seeking trainee & skilled Fabricators to join our team in Waterlooville. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and ideally but not necessarily, experience in working with sheet plastics and off the shelf parts. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating components and assemblies using a variety of tools and techniques, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

*Responsibilities*
- Operate welding equipment, including heat guns and extrusion welders to join plastic components effectively.
- Utilise templates, jigs, power tools and hand tools to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Assemble fabricated components into final products, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.
*About you*
- A demonstrable willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Proven experience in fabrication or a similar role is highly desirable. However full training will be given.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly plastic welding, is ideal but not essential. Full training will be given.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools etc would be ideal. Again, full training would be given on our machinery.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks are necessary.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities will be an advantage.
