About Us

Holmes Catering Equipment Solutions is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke commercial catering equipment, working with major clients across retail and hospitality. We design, fabricate, and install high-quality stainless steel solutions across the UK.

The Role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you will learn to manufacture high-quality metal products while working alongside experienced fabricators. You will gain practical experience combined with formal training.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in fabrication of stainless steel and metal products

· Cut, shape, assemble and finish metal components

· Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills and welders

· Read and follow engineering drawings

· Support welding and assembly processes

· Carry out quality checks

· Maintain a safe working environment

· Work as part of a team to deliver projects

What You Will Learn

· Welding techniques (TIG)

· Sheet metal fabrication and assembly

· Reading engineering drawings

· Use of fabrication tools and machinery

· Quality control standards

· Planning and preparation of fabrication work

What We Are Looking For

· Interest in engineering or fabrication

· Hands-on mindset

· Attention to detail

· Willingness to learn

· Reliable and hardworking

· GCSE Math's and English preferred
