Full job description

We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Trainee Butcher to join our friendly team. No previous butchery experience is required – we'll provide full training for the right person. If you're eager to learn a skilled trade, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

- Learning all aspects of traditional butchery from experienced butchers.
- Preparing and presenting meat to a high standard.
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and following food hygiene standards.
- Receiving and storing deliveries.
- Helping with stock rotation and general day-to-day shop duties.

What we're looking for:

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good timekeeping and reliability.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
