Full job description

LVT & Carpet Fitter
Location: Northwich, Cheshire and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent / Self-Employed Considered
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced LVT Fitter, preferable with experience of fitting high end luxury carpets to join our growing team based in Northwich. Full and/or part time positions available with competitive rates of pay for price work and overtime.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled flooring professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring to a high standard
Installation of carpets & runners to a high standard
Preparation of subfloors, including screeding, smoothing compound and damp proof membranes where required
Measuring, cutting, and fitting flooring materials accurately in styles such as herringbone, plank and border work
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Providing excellent customer service while at customers houses
Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

Proven experience fitting both LVT and carpets
Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Ability to work efficiently and manage workload effectively
Full UK driving licence preferred
Own tools advantageous
Good communication and customer-facing skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
