Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Porter, where your energy and dedication will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting food preparation, and ensuring all kitchen areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties

Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
Ensure all kitchen utensils, equipment, and work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
Support the storage and organization of ingredients and supplies in accordance with health regulations
Help with dishwashing duties, including loading/unloading dishwashers and hand-washing items as needed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment
Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance where needed
Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent accidents

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
