Cover Supervisor

Location: Highbridge
Pay: £120.00 – £140.00 per day
Type: Temporary
Hours: Full-time
Start date: ASAP

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience working with young people within a secondary or middle school setting
Confidence supervising whole classes and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher
The ability to follow lesson plans and ensure pupils remain engaged with set work
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, professional approach to classroom supervision
Confidence in supporting pupils of varying abilities and needs, promoting inclusion and participation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom settings
A commitment to supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development
Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
A positive and proactive attitude, encouraging high standards of behaviour, attendance, and engagement across the school community

Contract & Recruitment Information

Elementa is the recruiting partner; therefore, applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting and background checks and application for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (which may be chargeable at £64.20), unless you have a current Enhanced DBS subscribed to the Update Service.
