About the Role:
As an Arcade Attendant, you will be at the heart of one of the Pier’s busiest attractions, helping guests have a fantastic experience while ensuring the arcade remains clean, safe, and fully operational. This is a varied and fast-paced role that involves customer service, cash handling, machine maintenance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages.
Your Responsibilities:
– Deliver outstanding customer service and assist guests with enquiries.
– Monitor arcade machines and report faults promptly.
– Carry out basic machine maintenance, such as refilling tickets, prizes, and change.
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the arcade.
– Handle cash transactions and assist with prize redemptions.
– Ensure guests comply with arcade rules and policies.
– Support with opening and closing procedures.
– Assist in preventing theft, misuse of machines, and other inappropriate behaviour.
– Help create a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment for all guests.
– Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Pier to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
About You:
– Must be aged 18 or over.
– Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
– Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.
– Able to work independently and as part of a team.
– Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
– Previous customer service or amusement arcade experience is desirable but not essential.
