Inside Sales Executive – Oil, Lubricants & Chemicals
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Executive to drive sales growth for our portfolio of industrial oils, lubricants, greases, specialty chemicals, and related products. The role involves generating leads, managing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, technical understanding of industrial products, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers across industries such as manufacturing, automotive, construction, marine, and power generation.
- Promote and sell industrial oils, lubricants, greases, specialty chemicals, and related products.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and customer requirements to convert leads into sales.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer operational requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Quotations & Order Management
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and product information.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Monitor order status and provide regular updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Technical Support
- Provide basic technical guidance regarding lubricant applications, product specifications, and chemical handling.
- Coordinate with technical specialists for complex customer requirements.
- Stay updated on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales activities.
- Maintain accurate customer databases and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or customer service, preferably in lubricants, oils, chemicals, industrial products, or B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of industrial lubricants, petroleum products, or specialty chemicals is preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
