Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an Assessor to carryout assessments for electrical students. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for assessing and potentially teaching, with the ability to utilise a range of digital tools and learning management systems. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of the electrical industry and XS Training growth through engaging and innovative training.

Responsibilities

Carryout Professional discussions, observations and implement comprehensive assessment strategies tailored to the XS Training organisational needs.
Assist assessors within the workshop with delivery of practical activities.
Assess effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics, adjusting assessment plans and strategies accordingly.
Mentor learners by providing ongoing support to enhance their skills and knowledge through NVQ assessments.
Collaborate with Human Resources to identify training needs and align programmes with organisational objectives.
Create compelling materials that facilitate effective assessment methods, questions and evidence to enhance the learners experience.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, questions, and continuous improvement.
Attend ELEX show when required.
Create video content for YouTube with social media team.
Carry out site assessments on occasions when other assessors can't attend.

Skills

Must be a fully qualified Electrician.
Experience with Online training .
Strong assessing abilities with a focus on adult learners.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Experience mentoring colleagues or employees to develop their professional capabilities.
Carrying out Internal Verification on assessments carried out by other assessors. Qualification not required.

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
