About CoolPack Solutions

CoolPack Solutions is a chilled food fulfilment business specialising in the packing and distribution of pre-packaged ready meals.

Working Hours

Fri 10:00AM - 8:00PM, Sat 6:00AM - 4:00PM, Sun 6:00AM - 2PM (starting and finishing hours may vary).

Operational requirements include.

Overview

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Pick and Pack Operatives to join our warehouse team. This role involves efficiently handling materials, preparing orders for dispatch, and maintaining stock accuracy within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, good organisational skills, and experience in warehouse operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics setting, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Responsibilities

Accurately picking items from stock based on order specifications using warehouse management systems
Packing products securely to ensure safe transportation and delivery
Loading and unloading stock using appropriate manual handling techniques and forklift trucks where necessary
Managing shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory updates
Stocking shelves and organising stock in designated areas to optimise space utilisation
Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
Operating mechanical equipment such as forklifts (training provided if required)
Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment to adhere to health and safety regulations
Assisting with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all necessary equipment and systems
Familiarity with materials handling, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving processes is advantageous
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience operating forklifts is desirable but not mandatory; training will be available for suitable candidates
Experience with warehouse management systems or similar software is beneficial
Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and stock integrity
Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing, walking, lifting, and moving stock throughout the shift
