About the job
We are recruiting a full time Diploma qualified or experienced Paraplanner to work from our office based just outside Richmond North Yorkshire.
The role will be focussing on working closely with advisers and our admin support team.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit, and supportive team.
We’re seeking a technically strong and ideally experienced Paraplanner to support our Financial Advisers with work across pensions, investments, tax, protection and cashflow planning. We primarily provide ethically themed solutions to our clients, so experience and interest in this area is desirable.
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Location & Flexibility
Work from our office based just outside Richmond North Yorkshire.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide paraplanning and administrative support as required
- Work collaboratively with the team to support client outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent attention to detail, confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with financial planning software – notably FE Analytics, Voyant, O&M Pension Profiler, Adviser Asset, Cash calc etc.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Create comprehensive and compliant suitability reports
- Use research tools to analyse data and provide solutions to meet clients’ needs and objectives.
- Liaise with providers to obtain information.
- Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
The ideal candidate
- Motivated with a genuine interest in financial services
- Friendly, professional, and client focused
- Diploma Level 4 qualified (Ideally - or working towards)
- Experienced in paraplanning
- Good technical knowledge in pensions, investments, tax and general financial planning
- Holds the ability to put forward bespoke investment portfolios that align with a client’s objectives, attitude to risk and ethical values.
- Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Possess a high level of accuracy, especially in writing reports.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintains a positive outlook and builds strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
- 30 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and closed between Christmas and New Year (typically 3 days deducted from holiday allowance)
