About Us

We are Laser Tools, a premier automotive tools and specialist equipment brand supplying a comprehensive range of traditional hand tools, specialist workshop equipment and solutions designed to make difficult jobs easier for professionals. Our products are trusted across automotive workshops, HGV & PSV sectors, hybrid and electric vehicle servicing, and general maintenance, and are distributed through established wholesale channels, motor factors and trade partners across the UK.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven National Account Manager for Fleet & Key Accounts to develop and grow strategic relationships within the fleet and multi-site garage sector. This senior field-based role will focus on engaging with large fleet operators and major garage groups (such as nationwide service chains and multi-site operators), helping to increase adoption of Laser Tools products across high-volume professional environments.

This is a new and influential position, offering the opportunity to shape our approach to national fleet and key account engagement while working closely with existing distribution and trade partners.

In terms of location, we are flexible on this and welcome applications from all parts of the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute national account strategies targeting major fleets, national garage groups, dealer networks and high-volume service organisations, with a clear understanding of each customer’s market positioning and operational needs.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers, procurement teams and operational stakeholders.
Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, leading negotiations and securing high-value agreements.
Act as a brand ambassador, clearly communicating the value, quality and application of Laser Tools products in professional workshop environments.
Work collaboratively with internal teams (sales, marketing, product and operations) to deliver tailored solutions and a consistently high customer experience.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform account planning and long-term growth strategies.

About You

5+ years’ experience in a national account field sales role or equivalent senior field sales role, with clear responsibility for large, multi-site or national customers.
Background in automotive, fleet, workshop equipment, tools, or a comparable technical B2B environment is strongly preferred
Proven track record of delivering measurable success across national accounts, including revenue growth, major contract wins, and the development of long-term strategic partnerships.
Full ownership of large, multi-site and nationwide key accounts, including national retailers or enterprise-level clients, with responsibility for account strategy and performance.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate complex agreements at senior and executive level.
Highly organised and self-motivated, with experience managing a national territory and prioritising high-value accounts across multiple regions.
Confident communicator and relationship builder, experienced in engaging stakeholders at all levels—from site managers to head office.
Demonstrated ability to operate strategically, aligning national account plans with wider business objectives and driving consistent growth across geographically dispersed customers.
Experience implementing national agreements or frameworks across multi-location customers.
