Electrical Assembler - Corby, Northamptonshire
The rewards

Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am to 1:30pm
The role of Electrical Assembler:
- Assemble small components including PLCs, relays, contactors, drives and terminal blocks into finished products, reading from schematics and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools to meet production and quality targets
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings
- Build control panels containing 5 to 100 cables
- Wire and assemble intricate systems within conveyor machinery
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance and customer specification requirements
- Maintain housekeeping of workshop area and adhere to H&S regulations at all times
The ideal Electrical Assembler:
- Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds etc.)
- Proven experience as a Control Panel Builder, Electrical Technician or similar role
- Experience within industrial electrics (not residential)
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints
- Confident with panel wiring, cable routing and component layout
- Right to Work documentation required — candidates must be resident in the Corby or local area
