We are looking for a Research Support & Community Events Co-ordinator to join our Healthwatch team at Support Northamptonshire. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in ensuring local voices help shape health and social care services.
You’ll be at the heart of our engagement work – coordinating events, supporting research, and helping translate community feedback into impactful reports.

Planning and coordinating community engagement events across North Northamptonshire

Managing event logistics, venues, and promotional materials

Supporting research projects and producing clear, accessible reports

Simplifying complex information into plain English for wider audiences

Creating engaging content for social media and communications

Recruiting, supporting, and coordinating volunteers

Providing administrative support including meeting coordination and minute taking
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same.

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔ Experienced in event coordination and working with communities
✔ Confident engaging with diverse groups of people
✔ Highly organised with a proactive, “can-do” approach
✔ Comfortable producing reports and using Microsoft Office tools
✔ Creative, with the ability to design posters or communications (e.g. Canva)
✔ Passionate about making a difference in local communities
Experience working in the charity, public sector, or with volunteers is highly desirable.
