Hothouse Media is a growing media business based in East Northamptonshire.
We produce a number of high quality publications and websites, primarily related to classic and collector cars (Octane, Magneto, The Concours Year, ) and run a number of quality events (Concours on Savile Row, The International Historic Motoring Awards, Wilton Legends)
Hothouse Media was established in 2019 by David Lillywhite and Geoff Love and has shown strong growth in the 7 years since launch.

As our Subscription & Audience Growth Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of subscriber growth, retention, and recurring revenue across Hothouse Media’s premium brands. You’ll oversee HubSpot CRM, email marketing, and subscription campaigns, while managing a small team and driving audience growth initiatives, including supporting key events.
Role:
- Lead and implement subscription growth strategies, focusing on acquisition, retention, and recurring revenue.
- Own HubSpot CRM and marketing automation, creating customer journeys and optimizing data.
- Oversee and deliver all email marketing programs, improving engagement and conversion rates.
- Manage audience development efforts across digital channels and events.
- Support event marketing and attend key brand events as a representative.
- Lead and mentor one team member, fostering a growth-focused culture.
- Monitor key performance indicators, report on subscription performance, and identify new growth opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in subscription or recurring revenue marketing.
- Advanced HubSpot expertise and marketing automation.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Event marketing and audience engagement experience.
- 2+ years demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Understanding of ecommerce best practices and user experience optimisation
- Familiarity with SEO, CRO, and paid acquisition strategies and tactics
- Strong organisational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work self-sufficiently
- Creative thinking
- An analytical approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with or proficiency in Google suites
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
