Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive and well-kept. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors across various environments, applying practical skills in landscape maintenance and horticulture. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning and fertilising to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
Operate mechanical equipment such as pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and other various hand tools. Vehicle and equipment are provided.
Support seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance, snow removal or planting schemes.

Skills

Experience in landscape maintenance and gardening practices is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining equipment like excavators and power tools is preferred.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Physical fitness suitable for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

7.00am – 4.30pm
