We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join our expanding Radiology team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. This role involves working across our New Cross Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre, delivering a high-quality MRI service within a modern and developing environment.
The post holder will perform a wide range of MRI examinations, including advanced imaging techniques, while ensuring excellent patient care and safety throughout the patient journey. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a 7-day service, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and on-call commitments.
In addition to clinical duties, you will support the training and development of junior staff and students, contribute to service improvement, and play an active role in maintaining high professional and technical standards within the department.

You will be required to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and on-call commitments to support a 7-day service across multiple sites.
The role requires strong technical expertise to consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images, alongside the ability to use imaging equipment safely and effectively. You will also be expected to participate in service delivery improvements, clinical governance, and audit activities.
In addition, you will play an active role in supporting and developing others by contributing to the training and supervision of students, junior staff, and colleagues, helping to foster a positive learning environment within the department.
