Full job description

Here at 2 Sisters Food Group, we are proud to be counted amongst the nation's key workers with our relentless work helping to feed Great Britain. We currently have exciting opportunities for Despatch Operative to join the team in West Bromwich (site D).

The hours of work and shift patterns are:

Monday – Friday 14:30 – 22:30

The rates of pay are: £12.89

Candidates must be able to lift heavy loads.

Main Responsibilities:

Loading Pallets.
Heavy lifting
Loading vehicles.
Unloading vehicles.
Checking consignments.
Ensuring any discrepancies are identified and recorded.
Keeping accurate and legible records.
Logging on to scan guns and scanning the product.
Palletising product from dispatch bays.
Supporting the Dispatch supervisor as we have a reduced team in.

Helping assist the Dispatch supervisor look after areas and lines.

Ideal Candidate:

Basic numeracy ability.
Team player and willing to help out and learn new skills.
Good time keeping and attendance.
Previous experience in a food factory environment would be beneficial.
A flexible approach and outlook to work.
The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a small team, be of strong character and able to make decisions.

Must be able to lift heavy loads.
