Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience at our hotel.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain accurate records of bookings and reservations.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Process payments and manage cash handling responsibilities.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist in managing phone calls and emails, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Skills

Previous hotel experience is an advantage, especially Reslynx, but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members alike.
A solid understanding of hospitality principles and practices is beneficial.
