You'll be working from our training practice in Welshpool, you will be supporting a small team of overseas qualified Dentists in obtaining their NHS performer numbers.
This role is ideally suited for colleagues wishing to reduce their direct clinical commitments and support teaching and training. This could be a full-time or a part-time (minimum 3 days) opportunity to work in our training scheme.
More about the responsibilities of the role:
To work in the practice 3 - 5 days a week.
To provide clinical supervision and support up to 3 overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.
To liaise with mydentist clinical team about the progress and abilities of the Dentists.
To attend any training or meetings that mydentist deem appropriate for Clinical Supervisors.
To assess and grade the treatment provided and professionalism of the Dentists for the purposes of meeting their clinical requirements.
To maintain skills, competencies and required continued professional development appropriate for general practice and the support of dentists.
To liaise with the practice manager for the satisfactory integration of Dentists into the practice.
To provide appropriate pastoral support to the dental students whilst in the practice and report any issues arising from Dentists
