FREC 3 / FREC 4 Event Medic

Pay:
- FREC 3 – £17.00 per hour
- FREC 4 – £20.00 per hour
Paratus Limited is seeking an experienced Event Medic to provide medical cover within a welfare / refuel area for a national rally event that is taking place
This is a static deployment supporting fuel operatives, event officials and competitors within a controlled motorsport environment.
Essential Requirements
- FREC 3 or FREC 4 qualification
- Current BLS and AED certification
- Up-to-date DBS certificate
- Own responder kit suitable for independent deployment
- Own AED
- Reliable transport to and from site
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Ability to provide copies of all relevant qualifications and certifications prior to deployment
Desirable
- Previous motorsport or event medical experience
- Additional pre-hospital care qualifications
Role Responsibilities
- Provide first response medical cover throughout the event
- Assess and manage minor illness and injury
- Escalate incidents and request additional resources where required
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation
- Liaise with event organisers and emergency services where necessary
- Maintain a professional and proactive presence throughout the deployment
This is a one-day deployment with the potential for future event work with Paratus Limited across Wales and the UK.

Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to event participants and staff as required
- Assess patient conditions through physical examinations and utilise triage techniques to prioritise care
- Perform basic life support procedures following established protocols
- Monitor vital signs and evaluate physiological responses during incidents
- Maintain accurate documentation of all medical interventions and observations
- Ensure aseptic techniques are adhered to during patient care procedures
- Collaborate with event organisers, emergency services, and other medical personnel to coordinate effective responses
Experience
- Valid FREC3 or FREC4 certification is essential for this role
