Full job description

General Manager Required

HRE Catering Ltd – Gledrid, Oswestry

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hands-on General Manager to lead our busy café team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous hospitality or café management experience who enjoys leading by example and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Opening and closing the café.
Managing the day-to-day running of the business.
Leading and supporting the café team.
Food preparation and serving customers when required.
Stock control and ordering supplies.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.
Cash handling and till reconciliation.
Ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Carrying out all duties associated with the smooth operation of a busy café.

Requirements

Previous café, restaurant or hospitality management experience is essential.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts.

Hours

We are open 7 days a week, with a variety of shifts available, including mornings, days and weekends. Flexibility is essential, as shifts are worked on a rota basis.
