We're looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our growing team at VR Bathrooms.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating operations, managing stock, and improving business processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring stock is available where it's needed, supporting purchasing activities, and helping our day-to-day operations run smoothly.
The Role
As our Operations Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the business while overseeing stock movements between our two warehouse locations. You'll coordinate weekly artic stock transfers, monitor stock levels across both sites, and arrange additional transfers when required to ensure stock is always available to meet customer demand.
You'll work closely with our warehouse teams to plan and prioritise stock movements, ensuring all transfers are accurately recorded on our systems. You'll also investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, helping to maintain high levels of stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
A key part of the role will involve managing the purchasing of imported stock. You'll forecast stock requirements, place purchase orders based on demand and lead times, and liaise with directors regarding production schedules, shipping dates, and order progress. Keeping the wider team informed of incoming shipments, delays, and expected arrival dates will also form an important part of the position.
Alongside this, you'll monitor stock performance, identify low-stock, overstocked, or slow-moving products, support operational reporting and stock planning, and assist in resolving any operational issues that could affect stock availability, customer orders, or warehouse efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Can confidently manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Enjoys problem-solving and improving processes.
- Is comfortable working with data, stock systems, and operational reports.
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively with different departments.
- Has previous experience in operations, stock control, inventory management, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain (preferred but not essential).
