Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Quality Control/Feeder specialist, where your keen eye for detail and passion for quality will drive excellence in our production processes. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous standards by performing precise inspections, monitoring quality systems, and supporting manufacturing operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold our commitment to delivering top-tier products to our customers. Duties
- Feed profile bar lengths safely and efficiently into the lamination machine.
- Prepare profiles by wiping and ensuring they are free from dust, debris, or contaminants prior to processing.
- Conduct quality checks on laminated products to ensure they meet specification and company standards.
- Identify defects such as foreign bodies, poor bonding, or incorrect foil application and escalate issues promptly.
- Verify correct foil lamination specifications are applied to each production run.
- Pack finished goods accurately, ensuring correct quantities and protection from damage.
- Load packaged products into stillages ready for dispatch or storage.
- Retrieve stock from the warehouse and prepare materials for the laminating process.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the work area in line with 5S principles.
- ·Support general warehouse and production activities as required.
Skills
Essential:
- Good attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or lamination environment.
- Basic quality control experience.
- FLT license (if applicable).
This role may require manual handling and prolonged periods of standing. Flexibility to work shifts or overtime may be required to meet business demands.
