Class 1 HGV Driver

Location: Doncaster & North East Operations (various)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Highly Competitive – Top-End Industry Rates

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will operate a modern fleet of predominantly Scania vehicles and high-specification trailers, supporting transport operations between our sites in Doncaster and the North East.

The role offers clean, well-organised work with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and vehicle standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
Complete deliveries and collections in accordance with transport schedules
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Ensure compliance with driver hours regulations and company procedures
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
Complete all relevant transport documentation accurately
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies at all times

Candidate RequirementsEssential

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence
Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of drivers' hours and transport legislation
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Commitment to safety and operational excellence
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Desirable

Previous experience within transport, logistics, waste management, or related sectors
Tramping experience
