Salary: £37,000 - £45,000

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Your impact

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Edinburgh Supply Chain (Procurement) function as a Supply Chain Buyer in our Radar and Advanced Targeting line of business. The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Team Leader for the specific sector.

What you’ll bring

Manage portfolio of external supply chain partners & associated purchase orders
Chairing regular reviews with suppliers
Ensure material supply meets material requirements planning demand
Ensure timely issuance and submission of responses to standard SC toolset including
Be accountable for the management of Supplier delivery performance throughout the Contract lifecycle in line with defined Key Performance Indicators
Identify risk and opportunity, working collaboratively with stakeholders to help define mitigation activities.
Maintain joint action plans
Deploy the appropriate SAP activity in order to carry out your job effectively e.g. Purchase Order date maintenance

You really must have:

Awareness of Trade / Export Compliance
Negotiation skills
Ability to influence
Effective and flexible communication skills
IT literate (must have MS Office, Excel & SAP/MRP knowledge)
