Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sample Machinist & Cutter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise fabric samples and cutting materials with accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure the quality and consistency of our products, supporting the development of new designs and production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Operate sewing machines and cutting tools to produce fabric samples according to specified patterns and measurements
Interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and sample instructions to execute accurate cuts and stitches
Prepare fabric pieces by measuring, marking, and cutting with precision to meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained
Collaborate with design and production teams to refine sample quality and troubleshoot any issues during the manufacturing process
Follow safety protocols when handling cutting equipment, sewing machines, and fabrics
Keep detailed records of work completed, including measurements, materials used, and any adjustments made

Experience

Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management is preferred
Hands-on sewing experience with various fabrics is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to operate sewing machines and cutting tools efficiently
Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision in measurement and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
