About Us
Simon Jones Superfreight Ltd is a small but busy and fast-growing logistics business with offices in Streatham, SW16. We are data-driven, creative and inclusive and we are looking for a reliable, professional Personal Driver to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position supporting our Managing Director with all personal and business travel requirements. Day-to-day duties will include:
- Collecting the MD from his home in Hildenborough, Kent at 05:00 Monday to Friday and returning him home by approximately 13:00
- Daily commute covering Hildenborough, Kent to Streatham, SW16 and back
- Airport collections and deliveries
- Travel to social events and football matches with the MD and his family and friends
- Occasional weekend and evening work — always pre-planned and diary-confirmed at least one week in advance
- Day-to-day upkeep and presentation of the MD's vehicle fleet
- Integrating with the wider office team and providing general support when not driving
The primary vehicle is a well-appointed, upgraded Mercedes Sprinter.
Requirements
- Aged 25 or over (required for insurance purposes)
- Full, clean UK driving licence — essential
- Minimum 5 years' driving experience — preferred
- Strong working knowledge of routes in and around Kent, South London and key London airports
- Professional, discreet and well-presented
- Flexible and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to reliably commute to Hildenborough or willing to relocate before starting
