We design, manufacture, and install custom wine rooms, refrigeration systems, joinery, and architectural metalwork for some of the world's most prestigious properties and hospitality venues.
We are looking for a Designer to join our growing design department and help us continue raising the technical quality and detail of our projects.
The Role
This is a hands-on design role focused on developing bespoke wine cellars, luxury joinery, refrigeration enclosures, and architectural features from concept through to manufacture and installation.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, project managers, production teams, and installers to produce accurate, well-coordinated designs and production information.
This position would suit someone with experience in bespoke joinery, furniture, interiors, cabinetry, shopfitting, exhibition design, or a similar manufacturing-led design environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design bespoke wine cellars, refrigeration systems, joinery, and metalwork.
- Produce detailed manufacturing and production drawing packages.
- Create and manage 3D CAD models and assemblies.
- Generate client presentation drawings and renders.
- Coordinate designs with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure designs are practical to manufacture, install, maintain, and service.
- Produce accurate BOMs, schedules, and production information.
- Participate in design reviews and checking procedures.
- Assist in developing and improving internal drawing standards and processes.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a design role within joinery, furniture, interiors, shopfitting, exhibitions, cabinetry, or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing information.
- Experience using CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or similar).
- Ability to read architectural drawings and site information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of how products are manufactured and installed.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Highly Desirable
- Autodesk Inventor experience.
- Autodesk Vault experience.
- Joinery or furniture manufacturing experience.
- Site survey experience.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, ventilation, or M&E coordination.
- Rendering and visualisation experience.
- Experience working on luxury residential or hospitality projects.
