We're now looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Tilbury. The Role
As a Junior Customer Service Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of our Customer Service team, helping to ensure the smooth flow of customer orders, stock movements, deliveries, and transport operations.
Working closely with customers, warehouse teams, transport providers, and internal departments, you'll be at the heart of our operation, helping us deliver the high levels of service our customers expect.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to supply chain, warehousing, transport, and customer account management while developing valuable skills within a growing logistics business.
What You'll Be Doing Customer Service & Account Administration
· Provide administrative support to the Customer Service team.
· Assist with customer enquiries, orders, service requests, and account administration.
· Maintain accurate customer records and operational data across internal systems.
· Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries, stock availability, and service updates.
· Build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Logistics & Transport Coordination
· Monitor deliveries and help ensure customer requirements are met.
· Liaise with third-party transport providers to obtain shipment updates and resolve issues.
· Escalate potential service concerns and support timely resolutions.
· Prepare and maintain transport documentation and operational records.
Stock & Operational Administration
· Accurately process inbound stock bookings within warehouse management systems.
· Prepare customer, warehouse, and transport documentation.
· Ensure all operational paperwork is completed correctly and in accordance with company procedures.
· Support inventory and stock-related administrative activities where required.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Support
· Contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
· Assist the wider team with ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as required.
What We're Looking For Essential Skills
· Strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
· Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
· A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn.
Desirable Experience
· Previous experience in a customer service, administration, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment.
