Full job description

Senior Radiographer / Mammographer

Location: Lyca Health Orpington

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Shifts: Between Monday and Sunday 07.30 – 20.30

Contract: Permanent

Starting Salary: £40,000-£42,500 per annum (depends on experience)

Are you an HCPC registered Radiographer, experienced in working across a variety of modalities? Are you looking to develop your career and lead a team? Are you passionate about ensuring consistently high standards and delivering excellent customer and patient care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

You will work on rotation carrying out diagnostic imaging in a range of modalities including Mammography, MRI, CT, X-Ray and Theatre

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Radiographer you will:

Undertake Screening and symptomatic mammograms
Undertake MRI CT, general x-ray and Theatre activity as required.
Act as an Operator under the IR(ME)R Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justification of referrals.
Actively participate in quality improvements and audits.
Mentor junior staff and deputise for the Lead Radiographer as required.

Person Specification

Essential

Valid HCPC registration.
Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography
Have extensive post qualification experience including proficiency in Mammography.
Have evidence of continuous professional development.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in MRI
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable

Have post qualification experience in CT/XR/Theatre
Have experience working on Philips and GE Imaging equipment.
