Hours of work: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday / 07:00 – 16:00 Friday

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Landowner Group manufactures and distributes a range of products including Animal feed, AdBlue, antifreeze and associated products. We are looking for a proactive and practical individual to join our growing manufacturing team and support both production and engineering activities across the site.
Role Overview
The Production & Engineering Support Operator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations while assisting the engineering function with maintenance, repairs, installations and continuous improvement projects. This is an ideal opportunity for somebody who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems and developing engineering skills within a manufacturing environment.
Production Responsibilities
· Operate blending, filling and outloading equipment safely and efficiently.
· Carry out quality assurance sampling, testing and record keeping.
· Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
· Operate forklifts and telehandlers.
· Complete daily production checks and housekeeping activities.
· Support manufacture of animal feed, fertilisers, AdBlue and related products.
· Maintain production areas in a clean and organised condition.
· Follow risk assessments, safe systems of work and quality procedures.
Engineering Support Responsibilities
· Assist with routine maintenance activities across the production facility.
· Support mechanical repairs and breakdown activities.
· Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying equipment issues before they impact production.
· Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
· Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
· Carry out basic preventative maintenance activities.
· Support replacement of pumps, valves, sensors, pipework and production equipment components.
· Report equipment defects and assist with fault finding activities.
· Support engineering improvement projects and machinery upgrades.
Skills & Experience
· Practical mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools.
· Experience within manufacturing, engineering or production environments preferred.
· Forklift Truck licence desirable (training available).
· Telehandler experience advantageous.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Positive and proactive approach to work.
