Administrator - GP Practice

Winscombe and Banwell Family Practice

Job overview

An interesting opportunity has arisen to join the administration team at our well established and respected medical practice at Winscombe and Banwell.

Ability to undertake computer and paper information processing & data management tasks is required, such as document scanning and clinical coding. Ideally you will have experience of working in a GP practice using EMIS Web, Docman, TeamNet and other relevant IT and information systems, however, training will be provided where needed.

The successful applicant will be a key part of the practice support services, ensuring patient information is processed to ensure the highest standards of patient care; and that new processes are implemented effectively.

Working pattern: up to 16 hours per week

Main duties of the job

To undertake patient information and other data processing tasks using practice clinical, electronic and other information and records systems.

To work with team colleagues to ensure systems and processes run safely and efficiently; and to deal positively with change.

We are a forward-thinking, patient focused practice supporting over 11,500 patients. We are based in a rural area in Winscombe and Banwell, near to Weston-Super-Mare; and are a member of the Pier Health Group (Primary Care Network). The post is based primarily in Winscombe.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.78-£12.85 per hour
