Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Office Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to a professional workspace where cleanliness is a top priority. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure the office remains spotless, organised, and conducive to productivity. Working Days and hours are Mon- Friday from 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm at the rate of £13.00 per hour. Not required to work on weekends or Bank Holidays.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of office and some warehouse spaces, including desks, floors, windows, toilets, kitchens and common areas
Ensure rubbish bins are emptied regularly and recycling procedures are followed
Disinfect high-touch surfaces to promote a healthy environment for everyone
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products as needed
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines at all times
Assist with occasional special cleaning projects or deep cleans as directed by management

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
