Days of Work & Shift Pattern: Monday and Tuesday - 11:00 to 07:45

Job Description

The Role: Master of the Yard

We’re looking for an experienced Class 1 Shunter to own the night shift. You aren’t just moving trailers; you’re the conductor of a high-speed logistical symphony.

Precision Moves: Safely navigating trailers and tugs through the yard with expert spatial awareness.
Tech & Safety: Using our systems to log movements, conducting pre-use checks, and keeping our "Safety First" culture alive.
Team Synergy: Collaborating with warehouse legends and drivers to keep the flow seamless.
Agility: Helping out with inventory or local runs when things get quiet—no two nights are the same.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

The Credentials: A Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E) and a current Driver CPC.
The Vibe: You thrive in fast-paced environments and actually care about the "DPD DNA" - Passion, Respect, and Accountability.
The Skills: You can maneuver in tight spots that would make others sweat. You’re proactive, physically fit, and ready to solve problems before they happen.
The Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with basic digital logging (no paper mountains here).
