Full job description

Customer Service Officer (Known internally as Housing Liaison Officer)

Location: Central Dewsbury, with hybrid working available.

Salary: £15,123 per annum (£30,660 FTE) + Benefits

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 18.25 per week. Working pattern: Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays, 9am to 5:30pm (5pm finish on Fridays)

What you'll be doing

Our Customer Services/Housing Liaison Officers:

Are the first point of contact for customers, tenants and applicants by phone, email, letter and face-to-face.
Provide advice and support on a range of housing-related issues, including rent accounts, repairs, lettings, complaints and tenancy matters.
Work closely with teams across Connect to resolve customer queries and find the right solutions.
Support the day-to-day administration of the service, including reception cover and community-based activities.
Deliver a positive customer experience through professional, compassionate and effective communication.
