Full job description

Overview

A rapidly expanding manufacturer of Washroom toilet cubicles and work-surfaces seeks an experienced nesting CNC Operator based at our factory in Poole. Candidates will ideally have over 2 years experience using beam CNC's or in a similar wood machinist role, preferably from a joinery/furniture background. Candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered.

What you’ll do

Operate CNC machines in accordance with production specifications and safety protocols.
Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimise production.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimise downtime.
Ensure the proper handling of materials and tools used in the operation of machines.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets

Who you are

Proven experience operating CNC machines and/or beam saws in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
A driver with own transport.

Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
