Full job description

Fun Science is looking for an entertaining performer to join our events and shows team, mainly running science themed birthday parties for young children in and around Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire. Fun Science runs hands on practical parties, shows and events and has worked with companies such as Merlin entertainments, Camp Bestival, In it Together Festival, Butlins and many more. You will primarily be running birthday parties at weekends for children aged 3-11 but will also have the opportunity to perform at large festivals and events. You may also wish to work within our schools team as well which offers additional hours in the week.

Own transport is essential, as is an entertaining, enthusiastic personality! You will be given all the equipment and training needed to run activities including chemical reactions, slime making, hair raising and rocket launches. Experience working with children essential. Scientific knowledge is not essential as this can be taught.

Pay ranges from £50-£80 per party and parties are 45 minutes - 1.5 hours long. Mileage is paid. You have the opportunity to sign up for as many or as few hours as you like.

Mainly weekend work, opportunities for weekday work as well within our schools team.
