As a flexible hour Spa Therapist, you will deliver exceptional luxury treatments and personalised wellness experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest. Working flexibly to support periods of increased demand, annual leave, and team absence, you will play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of service within our boutique Courtyard Spa. You will provide professional consultations, expertly perform treatments, promote wellbeing and retail products, and ensure every guest enjoys a relaxing and memorable spa journey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapist who is passionate about luxury hospitality and enjoys working within a high-performing, guest-focused environment.
Deliver exceptional facial and body treatments to the highest professional standards, ensuring every treatment is tailored to the individual guest.
Create a warm, welcoming, and calming environment that reflects the luxury standards of Parade Hotel Bath.
Conduct thorough guest consultations, identify individual needs, and adapt treatments accordingly.
Build genuine rapport with guests while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
Promote overall wellbeing by providing expert aftercare advice and recommending appropriate homecare products.
Respond confidently and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and feedback, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Deliver a range of luxury spa treatments including massage, facials, body wraps, exfoliation treatments, and wellness rituals.
Maintain comprehensive treatment records and consultation notes in accordance with company procedures and GDPR requirements.
Prepare treatment rooms to exceptional standards before each appointment, ensuring all equipment, linen, and products are fully stocked and presented.
Maintain excellent hygiene, infection prevention, and sanitation standards throughout all treatment areas.
Monitor guest comfort and wellbeing throughout treatments, adapting techniques where appropriate.
Remain knowledgeable on treatment protocols, product ranges, contraindications, and industry best practice.
Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the spa by working collaboratively with the Senior Spa Assistant, reception team, and hotel colleagues.
Maintain exceptional presentation standards across treatment rooms, relaxation spaces, and back-of-house areas.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, COSHH requirements, infection control procedures, emergency protocols, and spa operating standards.
Report maintenance issues, equipment faults, stock shortages, or guest concerns promptly.
Assist with opening and closing procedures when required.
Recommend luxury retail products and treatment programmes through professional consultation and genuine guest care.
Promote spa packages, seasonal offers, and future bookings to enhance the guest experience.
Contribute towards retail and treatment revenue through confident, consultative selling.
Maintain attractive retail displays and ensure products remain clean, organised, and fully replenished.
Support the achievement of departmental retail and revenue objectives while maintaining a guest-first approach.
Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification (or equivalent recognised professional qualification).
Previous experience working within a luxury spa, boutique hotel, wellness destination, or premium hospitality environment.
Competence in delivering a variety of massage, facial, and body treatments.
Passion for wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Professional appearance and polished presentation suitable for a luxury environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
Flexible approach to working bank shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work at short notice when required.
Experience using spa booking or management systems.
Experience achieving retail sales targets.
Additional massage or specialist treatment qualifications.
Previous experience within a luxury hotel spa or five-star environment.
